ACP2E-4239: Admin Grid Date filters return no results due to Timezone mismatch

The ACP2E-4239 patch fixes the issue where admin grid filters using date attributes return no results due to timezone mismatch between the selected date, stored UTC values, and the configured store timezone. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.80 is installed. The patch ID is ACP2E-4239. Please note that this issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.9.

Issue

Admin grid filters that use date attributes return no results because of a timezone mismatch between the selected date, stored UTC values, and the configured store timezone.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Place an order.
  2. Create an invoice for the order.
  3. Create a credit memo.
  4. Go to Admin > Sales > Credit Memos.
  5. Click Filter and select the current date in the Created from and Created to fields.
  6. Click Filter.

Expected results:

Orders created on the selected date appear in the grid.

Actual results:

The grid displays no results.
