ACSD-62872: Schedule updates validated incorrectly

The ACSD-62872 patch fixes the issue with unique attribute validation where scheduled updates are validated incorrectly. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.56 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-62872. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.8.

The patch is marked as deprecated for versions 2.4.4 - 2.4.6-p8 in the 1.1.58 QPT release.

Issue

Scheduled update to a custom attribute is validated incorrectly.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a custom attribute for categories.
  2. Navigate to Catalog > Categories.
  3. Create a new category.
  4. In the same category, go to the Scheduled Updates section.
  5. Set up a new update for this category at any future time.
  6. Before starting the scheduled update, try editing the created schedule update for the category.

Expected results:

Should be able to update the scheduled update.

Actual results:

An error is thrown: The value of the “Custom Attribute” attribute isn’t unique. Set a unique value and try again.
