Prerequisites
WARNING
The below labs must have been completed before starting this lab
- Postman setup –> Postman installation
- Data Stores – Relational Store in Action –> Profile Target Dimension
- Data Stores – Configure Email Channels --> Configure for Relational
(this setup step takes up to 3 hours to complete)
If you have not completed these labs, do so now before continuing.

Lab overview
In this video, you learn how the flagship phone launch use case maps to orchestrated campaigns, recapping the critical thinking questions and architecture before you build the campaign targeting account holders and individual lines.
Learning objectives
- Build an Orchestrated Campaign using a variety of workflow activities
- Construct an audience using a Build Audience activity
- Understand how to set up an SMS channel
- Save an audience to the audience portal
- Target both the customer account and individual lines with email and sms messages
Use case description
Immediately following the launch of a manufacturer’s latest flagship device, send a targeted message to account holders and line users with older models – inviting them to upgrade to the latest mobile technology.
Key callouts:
- Save the audience of all customer lines to the Audience Portal
- Target individual lines and account holders with a message (you’ll use SMS)
NOTE
This scenario simulates a telecom contract upgrade campaign, where secondary (dependent) lines receive targeted upgrade messaging.
