TLS 1.0 and 1.1 Deprecation tls-deprecation

Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a cryptographic protocol used to establish a secure communications channel between two systems. It is used to authenticate one or both systems, and protect the confidentiality and integrity of information that passes between systems. In May 2018, there were three versions of the TLS protocol in use: TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2.

In March 2019, Adobe has ended support for the TLS 1.0 protocol. Adobe Audience Manager functionality does not work for your end users who use browsers which only support TLS 1.0.

In March 2020, Adobe will end support for the TLS 1.1 protocol. Adobe Audience Manager functionality will stop working for your end users who use browsers which only support TLS 1.1.

Adobe highly recommends the use of TLS 1.2, which is, at the time of writing, the latest version of the protocol. All modern browsers use TLS 1.2.
