Add Quantum Metric data to Customer Journey Analytics

IMPORTANT
The Quantum Metric source connector is not yet available at this time.

CJA unlocks report-time control off the QM data, sequential data analysis, rich attribution, and other advanced reporting. QM can be sent to AEP by using either the QM source connector or the Quantum Metrics Tags extension.

Step 1: Create a Quantum Metric source connector

  1. Log in to experience.adobe.com.
  2. Navigate to Experience Platform > Connections > Sources.
  3. Add the Quantum Metric source connector, and follow the prompts to completion.

See Adobe Experience Platform source connectors for more information.

Step 2: Create a connection in Customer Journey Analytics

Creating a source connector for Quantum Metric data automatically creates a dataset in Adobe Experience Platform. Add this dataset to a new or existing connection in Customer Journey Analytics.

  1. Log in to experience.adobe.com.
  2. Navigate to Customer Journey Analytics, and select Connections, optionally from Data management, in the top menu.
  3. Give the connection a name, and add the Quantum Metric dataset to the connection.
  4. Click Save.
NOTE
While you can add Quantum Metric data to the same connection as the rest of your Customer Journey Analytics data, that data cannot be stitched together without a common person ID between the two datasets. If this behavior is desired, Adobe recommends using the Tag extension instead of the source connector.

Step 3: Create a data view in Customer Journey Analytics

Create a data view to configure dimension and metric settings.

  1. Log in to experience.adobe.com.
  2. Navigate to Customer Journey Analytics, and select Data views, optionally from Data management, in the top menu.
  3. Select the desired data view, or create a data view.
  4. Locate the desired Quantum Metric dimensions and metrics in the schema fields list on the right, and drag them to the dimensions and metrics area in the center.
  5. Use the right pane to configure each desired dimension and metric.

Step 4: Start reporting and analyzing in Customer Journey Analytics

Now that the data is available in Customer Journey Analytics, you can start reporting on data.

  1. Log in to experience.adobe.com.
  2. Navigate to Customer Journey Analytics, and select Workspace in the top menu.
  3. Select an existing project, or create a project.
  4. Drag any desired Quantum Metric dimension or metric to the Workspace canvas to analyze the data.
