Direct link to a project in Analysis Workspace
This video shows how you can better democratize analytics by creating shortened links which will take your colleagues to your Analysis Workspace projects.
Transcript
In this video, I’ll demonstrate how to better democratize analytics by creating shortened links you can send to your colleagues. You can include these links in an email or in Slack and they will navigate to your Analysis Workspace projects. Now I’ll go into any saved project. I’ve already saved this project, but I’ll do it again just for the sake of demonstrating this. Now, in the navigation links under my workspace name, I’m going to click on Share and in that menu is Get Project Link. The Share link modal displays and from there you can select Copy. I’m going to cancel out of this modal and show you another place. Now, in the upper right hand corner, I’m going to click on the Share button. Further down in the modal, you’ll see Share URL. You can select Copy Link from here. You can also share it with your colleagues. I’m going to hit Cancel for now. Using either method to get the link will produce the same shortened URL. If I wanted to send this to someone who has Adobe Analytics access, but I haven’t shared this with them, I can do this using the Get Project Link feature from the Share menu that I showed you earlier. Then you can send this link through email or Slack or a similar tool and those colleagues will be able to view the workspace after they log in. Now, they’re not going to be able to save it or make any permanent changes. Hopefully this makes it easier for you to distribute Analysis Workspace projects in your organization. You should now feel comfortable using this feature to support democratizing data and insights to other users across your organization.
For more information on this feature, please see the documentation.
