You may remove a project from a program by doing one of the following:
Move it to another program.
Permanently remove it from the current program and do not associate it with another program.
Permanently delete the project.

You must have the following access to perform the steps in this article:

NOTE If you still don’t have access, ask your Workfront administrator if they set additional restrictions in your access level. Object permissions | Manage permissions to the portfolio, the program, and the project You must have Delete permissions to the project to delete it. After you create a program, you have Manage permissions to it, by default. For information on requesting additional access, see Request access to objects . |
*To find out what plan, license type, or access you have, contact your Workfront administrator.
Go to a program and click Projects in the left panel.
Select the project you want to remove
Click the Remove Projects drop-down menu.
Click Delete > Yes, Delete it to delete the project from Workfront.
or
Click Remove from Program to remove it from the selected program.
If you clicked Remove from Program, the project is no longer associated with the selected program.
