Thank you Amy. Good morning all. Good afternoon for the ones that you are in Europe. My name is Sara Barrioso. I’m the marketing operations manager here at Cornerstone and I’m here with you today to serve my experience with dynamic chart as I’ve been one of the early adopters. I’ve been using dynamic chart since April this year. I’ve been part of a group of customers. It’s called the Lighthouse programs and we’ve been part of the better release of the tool and we’ve been working with them into the implementation of the different functionalities. So I’m going to be sharing a bit of all that journey with you and also a bit about me. I’ve been market to users in 2017 and the tool admin, one of the tools here at Cornerstone and I’ve been tool admin of Marketo and other tools in the past. So I hope I can share a bit of my experience with you today. We all learn a bit more about dynamic chart with your questions later. So yeah as we all have priorities in our companies and that dynamic chart is one of the tools that will help achieve them. I would like to know a bit which is your priority right now. So let me push this poll to you and if you could give me your answers. Let’s check. So then I’m able to get to know more a bit and to save my top track based on your example. So okay I see for most of you is lead generation so I have good news for you. I have something to share with you that could be quite useful today. So happy to see that but for the ones that have chosen the rest yeah there’s going to be a bit of coverage for some of them so there’s some information for you as well. But let’s start with that. So what will you know by the end of this whatnot today? Okay why will you go home knowing new? So how to easily kick start your journey with dynamic chart? How you’re going to be able to create dialogues in an easy way? I’m going to give you primary cases where you should start and step by step guidelines or how to implement them. I’m going to help you expand your marketing campaigns using different dialogues in chat. I would like to share as well some tips and tricks so I can save you time and then as you know starting a new tool or migrating to a new tool can be a bit of a pain sometimes. I’m gonna help you with my journey what I learned of the things and how to show success you know in this project. So let’s start are you ready? Okay so let’s start from the beginning right we have the website we always have the website we always have the busy doors but now we have something that can help us connect it and that’s the chat right as humans we like to come to to compare us to chat right what if we were able to do it even where we’re not there right so that’s what chat is helping us we can create our top tracks the chat is going to deliver for them for visitors and customers we’re going to tailor-made all that and the visitor in the comfort of their heart chatting on the website without any advertisement presser is going to do it all because he wants it and we’re going to be able to self-qualify them based on how far along they go in the journey and what do they choose in their options so it seems a win-win right so now I’m gonna tell you a bit why we decided to migrate to dynamic chat right so this is more than a person that know what make us decide to go with dynamic chat so first of all I don’t know if everybody here knows but it’s part of any market of subscription I was surprised as well but it is there if you check on my marketo is one of the tiles that you would see so that we thought that’s amazing because we don’t have to go through this vendor review with our legal team sometimes can be a pain then as it’s all part of the same ecosystem there’s nothing easy so that for me as we’ve been suffering with them that was good news then I don’t know if you you had that situation but we’ve been having issues to do complex targeting right when you connect to tools it can get quite complex to target exactly what you want to deliver you know that so now we are able to you know since marketo implemented the connection smartly list we’re able to do that so we were very happy about that other key thing for us is is a marketer product so we’re used to the marketo interface the easiness or tubes of the product and that was something that we didn’t have before with the panel of when the customers accessed in it was a lot more complex to be tireless and here it has a really clean and easy easy interface I could share my screen with anybody from other departments or marketing cons and they were able to see that you know it adds it removes the complexity of building something on a tool so that were my you know why we decided to go for the night chat but you may have other reasons these are mine so we talk about the visitors that we have on our website so some can be known some can be unknown sorry there is a fly that wants to come to the webinar some can be known some can be unknown some can be elites some can be prosperous they all have different needs and we all when we set up our dialogues we have different goals that we want to achieve with them right so that’s the first thing to know you need to know your goal when you stop these dialogues on the website for the different kind of visitors so these are what we identify so we want to generate demo requests for us sales people from people that we don’t know or for the ones we know but they’re still not converted we also want them to be nurtured so we want to give them content so they can browse through it we also want them to register so ours events and be effective our marketing campaigns and we are also want to do some AV target AVM targeting to focus on our key companies so you see we pass from visitors now we’re talking about different kinds of visitors and the goals and that’s going to be very closely tied up with the kind of dialogues that we’re going to be creating so let’s dive now into the promise cases so if you’re new to dynamic chat you’re never going to dialogue i will tell you to start by this one but in order start first by a very general dialogue you know you can have different now simple your goal is to get demos then you can get fancy and do more complex targeting do webinar registrations dialogues then extend the impact of your marketing campaigns and then think about customers so let’s start by our first one the full dialogue what is the default dialogue so it’s a dialogue as you can see here in the preview you have a you know initial question and then you deliver a maximum of five cups no more than five for readability so what are we trying to achieve during all this dialogue get them a request for ourselves but you know we’re trying to deliver options for everybody right so that’s why you see i want to work for commission some of our audience if you want to know that others they want to know more so we’re not doing them others they want support the product support these are the customers others they want to talk straight to sales that would be the most straight forward way to get a demo request or they’re looking for pharmacy so how do i get to that how how do i decide to put these options so all companies have a contact ads forum so read all these messages and try to back it all into five categories no more than five for readability it can be four it can be three but most likely you’re gonna get around five so then you have your first five options really get feedback from your estate holders and that should help you to kick start your dialogue so remember that i talk about market to interface having an easy format right the format of how you build the dialogue is very similar to a flowchart so that’s what my advice would be try to always start building your dialogues in a flowchart so then it’s quite easy to remove the arrow add it here change it there get feedback through it to be as from estate holders you can share it if it’s the tool that you use company-wide here we use it company-wide so it’s quite easy to share the link you can also download it at a pdf again it will make your life easier if you want to try with the word document feel free i’m sure you will remember later what i said of doing it in a flowchart for all the back and forth you can get so here we are in dynamic chat finally so you see the formatting is very similar to the one of our flowchart here you see we have the demo dialogue i just saw you and now we’re gonna be diving a bit into how it looks here you have the targeting here i have a test link of the home page that’s what i’m highlighting there then as a utm i added like a test utm because i want to copy paste it i’m going to take it to incognito always incognito to make sure your dialogue is not blocked and it’s gonna show all the options i’m gonna show you how the preview will look right so here i have missed five my five options i’m just gonna click the one that i want to talk to a self-reg why because i want to show you uh one of these trends and i think the one where we get demo requests could be you know more interesting here so as you see i’m asking the user to give me different information first name last name email company any key detail that we need to have every key information for ourselves team at the end is like they will submit hidden form on the background and then at the end we tell them ourselves thing will be back to you right so now we see it works great and now we have to go to marketo and we’re gonna we need to set up the tracking so you see we have the trigger reach dialogue goal we have added our dialogue name we have added the goal where do we get that goal from let’s go to dynamic chat so here you see if i type goal i get different goals that i set up here searching for it you see just at the end or the goodbye message where i tell them they will be contacted by sales so i use these goals as a reporting asset that trigger accents in marketo as you can see then don’t forget the flow steps here you need to set up their program status chain so it actually gets tracked and if you want to modify the source as i did i changed it from dynamic chart to adobe because it works better for my company um that’s it here when you’re happy you set up your targeting and here set up the final of your campaign always at the script seal and then set up the priority that means how high you want it to show on the run and that will determine based on the rules you know if it will show to the users or not and then choose the language and publish it and then you’re ready to go so this is will be the cheat sheet of this test you need to follow if you want to do this dialogue so again make sure you add your goal make sure you add it in the tracking market to make sure you test the test you build for this campaign and make sure you test as well when you put it live so now we know how to do a demo dialogue you know that catch all so now let’s get fancier we’re gonna try to tune it a bit to make it industry specific so here you have the preview of one of them so you see i’m only changing what is in the option i want to know more about cornerstone which will be the northern option so here i think i have the yeah the healthcare one and then i gave different options as we have seen in here i saw you the different industries that i’ve done it for you choose your own industries the one i will apply to your business so here you see this avian dialogue and here you see i’m targeting the industry it’s not the country anymore only if i go to string designer the back end be here you see the part that i changed and you can see you see at every step you can read the industry name and you’re gonna see that i’m referencing different cases or is it completely specific the assets everything and then i’m gonna try to give them customer story as well you know different kind of assets depending how high on the conversation there are then how do you get to this so clone get into the the catch-all demo dialogue we’re gonna go now i’m gonna clone it and now for test purposes we just give them test name and here well one second takes a bit time to load the screen there you go so you see the target is already different now i’m showing you the dialogue that we have seen before you know you see remember it has the small numbers so this is the one you see the four seems with numbers so that has to be i changed so here this is a lot more general you see the targeting here it only has the country that could be the main difference that you have on there so now here you have again the cheat set so you can do it at home just clone the default dialogue make sure you adapt the messaging right on that stream and always test okay and make sure on the targeting you are the industries that you want to target okay so now let’s go more into the preview and let’s see more in life because in the back end you know it’s good to show you which fields you need to change but it’s not as feasible right so now let’s see how one of our web visitors will see right so here we’re seeing the demo dialogue one okay you see general assets and we you know after we deliver one or two we tend to ask for the email right so then we know and that would be a goal for me when i attract you know like i track it just only with learn you can choose your name but that’s again how i track people that it’s been acquired right here we have the abm demo uh dialogue for pharma so you see again text is different options are different assets are different again you know at any point i’m asking then do you want more information or do you want to talk to sales or you know just try you know trip or you keep on asking right to see if you can get the demo request i’m asking again for the email not exactly at the same level doesn’t really matter it doesn’t have to be exactly the same but you you guys get the idea right so that’s what matters okay so we’re done with the first one let’s go to the second one this one probably would be my favorite is guana not so long ago and why do i like it because it’s simple but gets a big impact right before people were just getting registrations by promotion by email but what about the people on the website i said let’s write a simple dialogue and just try to promote it so that’s this is a preview well let’s see it so again i started with my flowchart i don’t have to convince you anymore about my flowchart right so here i’m just asking the users like well we have an event in your area of this would you be interested if they say yes i give them all the information a short summary and then i give them the link to the landing page in case they want to if they say no but i would like to be notified of future events i give them the link to the web where they can opt in so i get some you know new subscribers then for the people but say yes i say oh here you have your landing page say come can i give it just in case it didn’t take it on the first step and if they say no well i changed my mind i said well in case you change your mind here is the link at always as a way to close your dialogue always asking is there anything else you need honey they say they still want to know more about cornerstone just take them um you know to your contact aspects right so here let’s see i think that’s one slide oh no sorry okay so here we are in dynamic chat um i’m just filling all this information with um dummy test information so you start seeing where you will have to add the data here i’m coming back here because i forgot to click right i want to show you how i’m adding a specific utm so i’m actually able to track the registrations you know they come from adobe and i’m able to prove this access so this is how i’m adding it into my trigger campaign in marketo right to track that over registraries but you also need to remember to exclude them from the normal tracking so they don’t get added to the normal registrations okay so that’s how it is now coming back to marketo sorry to adobe right oh we have seen this sorry let’s go to the next one so here you have the the cheat sheet and how do you have to do it so you’ve been there once and you’re going to have more than one of them right so make sure sure you you save it as a template you have different languages created in different languages and you just have to clone it one thing that could be really helpful is to try to add it as in the briefing template when the request you want event or webinar right at the end you just need a short amount of information that could be extracted from the landing page so it’s not like it’s a lot of information because other ways to start just get information from the landing page yourself share the preview with them and they will just validate it but that way you get it you get the ball rolling okay so right now we have seen that we direct people to a landing page where they register right but what about if we know the person is marketo able to deliver a better you know user experience yes it can so now i’m gonna tell you how you will have to set that up so here in the screen right you can see here when they ask yes when they say yes the answer yes you cannot have token and you can ask them is this your email address right and if they say yes right then we we can tell them oh well we can send you the confirmation by email if they don’t answer that this is yeah right this is my email address then we’re gonna take them to the one of the old registration page why do we ask is this your email we want to make sure it’s correct we don’t want to send it to an old email okay so yes here you have the text or everything that you will have to add um yeah and again this test will be the same as every other dialogue so now as we we like to see this in preview let’s go for it and let’s see how a visitor on our website will see that there you go i click yes and you see here we go our email address i’m verifying it’s mine and then it’s gonna tell me yeah we’re gonna send you an email confirmation and again we’re asking them if they want something else okay last but not least is the well how to extend the impact of your marketing campaigns right we all want that right so how can we do it so this is one example here on the screen you have an email marketing campaign you have a very interesting high value asset very promoting on the website so when they land on your website why not asking them why not offer something right you can chat with them and measure the level of interest you will be able to track all you know how far they get they get on their dialogue which options they choose you can offer them to talk to sales you know it’s like you would be there right and then obviously your salesperson can be notified of this but what about if you on top of this compliment that with you know we have this chat where we’re taking people to find to fill our forum and this will take them to our assessment uh then when they land on their thank you page of this we we try to see if their results they go based on the results they go they are ready to talk to cells right we don’t lose anything for asking right so why not then if the person was coming back to our website within 45 days we were thinking well maybe they are interested so we were acknowledging that they’ve been on this website before doing this assessment and telling they want to talk about it talk to sales they wanted a demo so you know we got four chats that we could uh deliver here to complement our marketing campaign so here um if you have a bit uh everything outline so how do you start here you can just clone any any any chat you see they are not extremely low any strata it resembles to what you’re looking for and just try modifying there uh obviously do it on the flow chart so you can move drag and drop and it will be a lot easier okay so now that i i think you’re ready after this to build any dialogue you’re already thinking okay give me some tips how do i can make you know how can i start you know save me time right okay here we are so i can tell you whether you already have access to dynamic chat or no you can start working on it start plotting your um your dialogue on on a flow chart start talking with your stakeholders start seeing what their needs are start gathering all this feedback start you’re drawing it right if you already have some dialogues think about refreshing them if you’re changing you know migrating why not it’s a good time to refresh them they may work well things change people change there’s always new thing to try make sure you have refreshed content in the last year probably you should i think about testing different approaches then probably you already had a few dialogues where you said well now how do i get new cases you know we have to evolve we we can’t just be just doing the same so make sure you talk to your stakeholders you know like talk to your marketing managers tell them what are your goals what do you want to achieve what are the people that you have travel targeted how do you want to achieve it and to say what are the problematics you see get them to review what you currently have found out some people they didn’t even know the kind of chats we have and they were able to give valuable feedback right so place yourselves are a key shareholder that is theirs to have also so then the tool make sure they know all the functionalities but also you know in the problem you are able you know to help each other and they can think about you when they have a marketing problem to fix right you will be the best ambassador of the tool because you are the tool expert and the one that can tell them what to do right so make sure you so repeat you say please this is the templates that we have review how can we improve then this works you know how are you going to prove that works how are you going to get people to pay attention to you you have to kind of prove some kind of success right i was saying that a bit of numbers are necessary so when i started doing the event registration phase you know the event registration dialogue many people thought oh one extra step well i was that’s why i was started doing the first ones extracting information from the landing page and sending them for review so they just have to give me the okay then i created this access board which i gave access to everybody and i was showing them the amount of registration i was getting them for their events so then they started getting interested right when they could see there were some numbers that they were seeing there were some key companies so that started getting interest then they’re realizing that well it’s actually not that much effort actually it’s been included into the briefing document might actually be important and then you can see this post here is from one person from the sales team being very happy because um the chat pop up on the website or the webinar that he was going to be part of so after he wrote this you know it became more popular the chat tool and everybody wanted to have it for their registrations what started up more as a trial it became like the norm right now so work hard do your tests talk to people word of mouth will do the rest for you and numbers talk by themselves so continue talking about numbers right remember i’ve been talking about goals and that’s how i track and it has me track my success right then i also talk about the easiness of the interface right so the easiness of the interface and the format of how to be the dialogues that you have seen that made us be autonomous in um doing our dialogues so that meant we could deliver it within one day then over the last just to give you more an idea of numbers in our company we got over 400 demo registrations no more requests in the last six months so ourselves people are happy and at this point if we will tell them you know there’s no chat they won’t have these four registrations they probably wouldn’t be as happy right then remember when i was asking people do you want to attend to this webinar and they were saying no but i want to be notified of future events that’s where i got my marketing registration so never miss a chance to ask a question where you can get some kind of good interaction from the user then when i was given the assets to consume in the northern phase at the end i was asking them for the email so i got some email so more data from our database right of people that is interested in our content and i’m not ready to buy and then we have the the customer stream which i very cover but we have a goal where it says support you know where we help support our customers with any question they have so 90 years of them were used that so overall you know that happy numbers happy people are happy stakeholders on our own here is kind of a preview of the global dashboard that we have consumes the engagement and conversion rate within the last seven days so you see decent numbers and then when after all this i suppose you are thinking you know am i ready to validate up cough what do i have to do so as i said start plotting your dialogues otherwise by the time you have the tool you don’t have your dialogues you need to get your code installed on the website so you may need to start booking it’s time you may need to add a new lead source in your sales force or crm so that sometimes takes time right um then don’t forget that one would say that you can have you can have the adobe code and the call of another provider embedded in the website at the same time so that will help you to ensure a small transition until we able to switch on and activate another one um yeah when you start uh you know integrating a new tool within market though make sure you create a program with all these trigger campaigns mainly my case here will be the one that we always have on is demo requests and you know you need to have this set out to track everything your program status tracking you may need to add scoring or you add it into normal aqm ql process or you need to add interesting moment if you have msi so have a thing about all these things right and then if you do a dialogue do it in a website that actually has traffic it may seem obvious but it has happened so you check google analytics to make sure you don’t work in vain then and well as you can see a dynamic chart has similar capabilities and marketo in in the in the forms like for the different drop downs and options so use that and make sure you know you can present the data how you want it and then obviously make sure you add your utl so you track your conversions you add your goals just uh well why it’s so important because you need your information to remain more than 90 days and information is only in dynamic chat for 90 days so keep that in mind always to have it double and you need to have it in market also you can pass it to your crm if you want and that’s all from from my side i hope you guys learn something new today and i features that can help those of you who have started using dynamic chat further develop across channel customer experience using the integration with marketo engage so introducing conversational form conversational forms allow you to engage your website visitors immediately after they fill out a form this allows you to tailor their interactions to their specific interests all this can be done seamlessly within your form settings and marketo engage so let’s see how this works so in example use case would be you have a lending page where people can request a pdf of a white paper about the service that your company offers additionally you also want to offer contacts at target accounts and ability to book the meeting with your sales team as soon as possible so that you can move them further down to the funnel so conversational form as you can see here on the screen allow you to really set up this experience within just your existing workado engage forms without needing to do any coding in html or javascript so we’ll have a demo video ready on experience league and marketing nation community for you to learn more about this new features for today we wanted to for today we wanted to remind you taking a few next steps after this webinar we made it to the end and here are some key takeaways for you to put what you have learned today into practice if you have not already used dynamic chat before start by digging into the application the easiest way to log in is to click on your dynamic chat tile on your my marketo page to fully utilize the chatbot activities types and marketo engage make sure you activate the integration by going into the integrations tab and clicking on initiate sync button try to create a dialogue and publish it based on the demos that sarah has shown you earlier don’t forget to leverage dynamic chat activity types as triggers and filters in your smart campaigns to re-target those leads in marketo engage campaigns and with that you have learned how to use dynamic chat and integrated it with marketo engage to deliver that cross-channel customer experience it’s important to plan out your conversational flow and get stakeholders buy-in so we have cover the primary use cases such as sales meaning booking website content engagement and event registration promotion so how to implement them and finally some of the staffs to help you drive organizational wide adoption implementation and workflow efficiency so make sure you follow some of these steps to help with you put these into practice so now we are at the end of our presentation i would recommend everyone to post your questions in the QA panel and sarah will share the answers based on the we may not be able to do all of the questions for the rest of the questions on that we didn’t get to we’ll post them on marketing nation community for your post post event engagement yes so the first question i see here is can the audience reactivate a dialogue one day engaged so every dialogue a will be triggered to one person so one ip only once when you have been part of that dialogue it doesn’t matter how far along you’ve been that dialogue once so to you again right but if you want this person to be affected by you know if they come back or whatever other action then it won’t be affected by this dialogue but you can set up any other kind of dialogue that will uh you know with impact for it depending on different action for as per say one dialogue one person one time okay hope that’s clear um how many questions will you recommend including dialogue dialogue to create a positive conversation experience so as i said on the first example of the default demo dialogue so start with an external question that is kind of the hook make it interesting then if you’re gonna talk about different categories where you want the user to pick one go no more than five if we are talking about length wise you can go long points so there are different diversions but the longer you go the more complex it is so start small and build on that and test see actually people get to the end of your stream there’s no limit but i wouldn’t make it more than five length wise unless you have something really relevant to so but make sure that it might be five questions this way or there may be you know at least double of diversions so make sure you’re keeping by that so that’s why it’s very advisable to start building it on a fro chart so you see how big the tree is getting okay another one for organizations operating globally how are you being managing the dialogue localization so we create a first dialogue in english then obviously from them we will deal in a tree then we have to extract it in our word version and we make sure we set up in a schema base so we know exactly where to put it back right and then we get it translated and then when we put it back on the and the flow chart then when then that generally works for the template if we do like a global campaign we know we have the text preset we know exactly how the dialogue is going to be it’s going to be plotted only in english so which is just basically we have to put the text back in word in english we translate that and then we put it back on the template in english and sure in you know where the english version on one side you work in excel file so you have you know in the english dialogue where everything goes on the tree so you have the word translated i don’t know in french or german exactly on the same line you know exactly where it will be on the on the string design in the dialogue because you have the english expression which you clone for so at the end it’s not that difficult if you work with many languages as complexity as you need to clone more dialogues the only key thing there is one before approving the dialogue make sure you choose the drop down of the language so there is any ui information needs to show it will show in that language and actually make sure that language shows correctly okay next question similar to the form with hidden fields can chat collect utm values from the url string and pass it with the lead so not sure i understand it correctly um can the chat collect utm values from the url no it cannot collect them chat will only collect the information that the user delivers right and we collect utm values when somebody fills a form so if the person is directed to a form that values the utm values that we put in the link that we’re putting dynamic chat to direct them will be collected by market or by the market form right but not necessarily by per se by dynamic chat that’s not a functionality that we had on thing that the goal uh here so as just to make it clear dynamic chat will collect any value that the user inputs okay we’ll map it we map all those values so um i hadn’t really saw that in detail but when you want when you’re asking what is your name right there is one of the cards that is called input information so you add that and you will add the question what is your name what is your first name and you’re actually mapping into the first name right so acting information that the user will input will be added into that field in this case first name so unless the person will give us the utm value it will be impossible okay are there dialogue templates in your instance or do we need to grade them from scratch yeah it does come with different dialogue templates they are categorized by goals um similar goals to the ones i saw you so that can give you an idea of where to start that can be applicable or not to you right depending on which industry you come from is just an idea but at least based on the ideas i gave you what you can find there that gives you an idea where to start well like i said for me i found it like a day wasn’t as applicable you don’t start with a blank page which is good now you have two kind of templates okay uh what are some expected metrics for engaged trigger goal achieve engaged and goal achieve trigger that was an engaged trigger yeah so when every time a person uh you know a person you know visitors on the website and the chat pops that’s called trigger so any person that visits the website and gets the chat pop up whether that person interacts or not with the chat that will be tracked as triggered right then if the person interacts with the chat any kind of interaction will be tracked as engaged right then and there’s another thing that’s right as complete the chat right if they complete one of the streams that will be completed chat then at the end of that stream because each tree normally has a goal like a path set up your goal so then right now is is not available in the report there is something that is coming that you can track your reporting based on those goals right so that could be good there you can track the engagement and tell them to do what you want based on the goals based on passing information to different attributes so you can track what however you want it right reporting i think has a new release very soon to implement all these things as well in in the view so you should be able to do uh what you want and actually i think you when you hover over in the information of all these things explain exactly what trigger means what engage means so it is clear for any stakeholder okay is seed dynamic chart able to connect to a pre-filled form on the website for example we ask for name email and which product they’re interested in but we need a little more information from a form to a
