ACSD-52398: Requested qty not available when trying to update quantity of bundled product

The ACSD-52398 patch fixes the issue where the requested qty is not available when trying to update the quantity of a bundled product in the cart on the storefront. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.35 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-52398. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.3-p3

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.0 - 2.4.6-p1
NOTE

The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. Issue

The requested qty is not available when trying to update the quantity of a bundled product in the cart on the storefront.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create two simple products with quantity 1 and 10.
  2. Create a bundled product using the simple products.
  3. Add the bundled product to the cart.
  4. Edit the product and try to update the quantity to 3 for the option where 10 items are available.

Expected results:

There is no error. Qty is updated successfully since there are 10 items in stock for this option.

Actual results:

The following error is thrown: The requested qty is not available.
