ACSD-51899: Default shipping address auto-populated incorrectly

The ACSD-51899 patch fixes the issue where the the default shipping address is auto-populated with a wrong address. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.35 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-51899. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.4-p3

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.0 - 2.4.6-p1
NOTE

The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. To check if the patch is compatible with your Adobe Commerce version, update the magento/quality-patches package to the latest version and check the compatibility on the Quality Patches Tool: Search for patches page. Use the patch ID as a search keyword to locate the patch.

Issue

The default shipping address is auto-populated with a wrong address

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable In Store Pickup under shipping method.
  2. Create stock and source.
  3. Create product and assign the product to the source.
  4. Add a product to cart.
  5. Click on Proceed to Checkout from mini-cart.
  6. Enter test email address and select Pick In Store.
  7. Click the Select Store button, and select a store location to pick from.
  8. Click on the next button.
  9. Navigate to the Home Page by clicking on the store logo.
  10. Open te Mini cart.
  11. Click on the bottom hyperlink named View and Edit Cart.
  12. Click Proceed to Checkout.
  13. Click on the shipping button in shipping page.

Expected results

The shipping address field remains empty except for Country, Region, and Postal Code.

Actual results

The default shipping address is auto-populated with In-Store pickup address after refreshing the page.
