You can pause active alert templates.
In the main menu, click Search > Insights & Reports > Custom Alerts, which opens to the Alert Templates view.
Do either of the following:
(To pause a single template) In the template row, click inside the Status column and select Paused.
(To pause one or more templates) Select the check box next to each alert template that you want to pause. In the toolbar, click In the dialog box, click Pause.
