ACSD-54060: Restricted admin can’t save product if it’s child of another product
The ACSD-54060 patch fixes the issue where a restricted admin is unable to save a product if it’s a child of another product assigned to a different scope. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.42 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-54060. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7.

A restricted admin is unable to save a product if it’s a child of another product assigned to a different scope.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create an additional website.
- Create a simple product and assign it to both websites.
- Create a configurable product with the simple product as the only variation, and assign the configurable product to the default website only.
- Create a restricted admin user with access only to the second website.
- Log in as the restricted admin user.
- Try to change the simple product name in the second website scope.
Expected results:
The restricted admin is able to change the product name.
Actual results:
An error occurs: More permissions are needed to view this item.
