ACSD-47497: missing ACL for Store / Configuration / Services OAuth

The ACSD-47497 patch solves the issue where the Services tab is not visible in the Configuration section in the Adobe Commerce Admin. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.23 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-47497. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.6.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.0 - 2.4.5-p1
NOTE
The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. To check if the patch is compatible with your Adobe Commerce version, update the magento/quality-patches package to the latest version and check the compatibility on the Quality Patches Tool: Search for patches page. Use the patch ID as a search keyword to locate the patch.

Issue

When permissions are set for a particular role, you cannot define access to the Stores > Configuration > Services > OAuth.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log in to the Adobe Commerce Admin. Go to System > Permissions > User Roles.
  2. Select Role Resources in the Administrators role, and set Resource Access under Roles Resources to Custom, then select all the check boxes. Select Save Role.
  3. Select Stores > Configuration > Services. The OAuth configuration section is not available.

Expected results:

In Stores > Configuration > Services > OAuth, the configuration section is visible.

Actual results:

In Stores > Configuration > Services > OAuth, the configuration section is missing.
