Upgrade to version 10.0 DHL schema to continue offering DHL shipping

This article provides a solution to allow merchants to continue offering DHL shipping after the DHL schema version 6.2 gets deprecated in the end of December 2022.

Issue

In August 2022, we released the upgrade of DHL schema version 6.2. along with a fix patch for merchants to continue offering DHL shipping. DHL is again introducing a newer schema – version 10.0 – in October 2022, and the previous version (6.2 schema) will get deprecated in the end of December 2022. Adobe Commerce 2.4.5 and earlier DHL integration only supports version 6.2.

Solution

Adobe Commerce 2.4.5-p1 and 2.4.4-p2, released in October 2022, contain the new DHL schema version 10.0. So merchants who upgrade to 2.4.5-p1 and 2.4.4-p2 do not have to do anything to continue offering the DHL shippments. We encourage all merchants to upgrade to 2.4.5-p1 and 2.4.4-p2 before the deprecation of DHL schema 6.2. in the end of December 2022.

Merchants who do not wish to upgrade to 2.4.5-p1 and 2.4.4-p2 will need to apply a fix patch if they want to continue offering DHL shipping after December 2022.

The patch ID is AC-3023 and it is available in the Quality Patches Tool version 1.1.21.
