Tasks: Cannot change Planned Completion Date of a task

This issue has been closed because it is working as designed.

When a user attempts to change the Planned Completion Date of a task, the field is unresponsive.

This has been reported in the following areas:

  • The task header
  • The Task Details area

Workaround

Do one of the following:

  • In the Task Details area, change the Task Constraint to “Must Finish On”, and then change the Planned Completion Date.
  • Change the Planned Completion Date inline in the task list.
