Proofs: Proof prevents conversion of task or issue to project

When a user attempts to convert a task or issue that includes a web generated proof to a project, the project is not created and the user sees the following message:

“There was a problem copying the file \xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\u003C. Please remove the file or contact support and try again.”

Workaround s

Perform the following procedure:

  1. Use the Move Document feature to relocate the proof to another task, issue, or project.
  2. Convert the task or issue to a project.
  3. Use the Move Document feature to move the proof to the new project.
