Today, we’ll show you how to review and approve brand images in AEM Assets for use in GenStudio for Performance Marketing.

We’ll explore how AEM Assets streamlines the review and approval process with lightweight task management, ensuring assets meet brand standards.

Once approved, these assets can seamlessly flow into GenStudio for Performance Marketing to support the creation of personalized marketing initiatives. Let’s dive in. We’ll start in AEM Assets to prepare an image for GenStudio for performance marketing to use in an email marketing campaign. First, locate the image we want to use. In the Experience Iceland folder, we have a variety of images already uploaded to AEM Assets. Note that not all of these images have been approved yet. Approving an asset in AEM Assets is part of what we’ll cover in this video. For this campaign, we’ll use the image of a person looking up at a waterfall. AEM Assets shows that this asset hasn’t been approved yet. To review and approve an asset in AEM Assets, we assign a task to request review and ensure brand requirements are met.

In the Task dialog, we specify campaign details, priority, and instructions. This makes the task precise and actionable, guiding the reviewer to update the image’s metadata and set its status to approved when it’s ready.

Once we create the task, the assigned reviewer is notified automatically. Next, the reviewer opens the asset, evaluates the image, and checks it aligns with the campaign’s theme and branding. This is the same process as the AEM’s marketing and marketing standards.

Let’s leave a positive comment to note why we like this image. Of course, comments can also suggest changes, but since we’ll approve this asset, let’s add some positive feedback. AEM’s commenting enhances collaboration between creative and marketing teams. The viewer then adds metadata, like a title and description, to improve discoverability and governance.

Finally, after we’re satisfied with the asset, we set its status to approved. This crucial step makes the image available for use in GenStudio for Performance Marketing. Then, we approve the task itself. Note that approving the task simply marks it complete, while setting the status to approved is what makes the image available for use in GenStudio for Performance Marketing. Our image is now reviewed, approved, and ready to create impactful marketing experiences in GenStudio for Performance Marketing.

Next, let’s switch to GenStudio for Performance Marketing. We will create a new email experience for the Weekends Experience Iceland adventure using this approved image.

We start with a weekend-branded email template, ensuring brand consistency. Next, we need to define the parameters for the email experience we want to generate. Select Weekend as the brand, Solo Traveler as persona, and select Experience Iceland as the featured product. Then, we select the approved image from AEM assets to add a cohesive, on-brand visual that captures the essence of this campaign. To generate compelling email content, we input a descriptive prompt that conveys the adventure and exclusivity of the Experience Iceland campaign, appealing directly to the Solo Traveler persona. Using Adobe’s GenAI technology, GenStudio for Performance Marketing quickly produces engaging copy paired with our approved image, ready for review and final adjustments.

And there you have it, an on-brand, captivating email for the Weekend Experience Iceland adventure. From image approval in AEM to experience creation in GenStudio for Performance Marketing, this seamless integration accelerates your content pipeline and ensures campaign consistency.
