After creating the Cloud Services configuration, the next step is to create a Form Data Model based on the Cloud Services configuration that we created earlier. So to do that, I’ve logged into my AEM Forms Cloud Service instance. I’ll drill down into the Forms folder and select Data Integrations. Here, I’m going to create a new Form Data Model here, give a meaningful name. I’m going to call it Microsoft Dynamics. Make sure you select the Data Source Configuration folder called Microsoft, because this is where our Cloud Services configuration was created, and select that, and then click on Next. So then the Cloud Services configuration which are residing in that Microsoft folder will become available, as well as some Cloud Services configurations which are in the global folder will be available here. So in this case, we’re going to select the Microsoft Dynamics Cloud Services configuration, and click on Create to create your Form Data Model. After creating the Form Data Model, the next thing to do is to edit the Form Data Model. So select the Form Data Model and click on the Edit. When you open up the Form Data Model in the Editor mode, you will see the schema and the services tabs, or the services trees being populated from Microsoft Dynamics. This would typically take a little longer because Microsoft Dynamics has lot of schemas and lot of service objects that we need to populate here in this screen. From the schema, we select the lead object here. So if you expand the schema node, you can add the lead object by selecting the lead object and click on Add Selected. In a similar manner, you can add two services, one for posting a lead object and other one for getting the lead object. So the two services are here that we selected. One is to get the leads and other one is to create a lead. In the model, you can also configure the right service here. So select the lead object and click on Edit Properties, and make sure the right service is configured appropriately. In my case, it is configured to use the post lead, slash lead service here, and then make sure you save your settings here. Save, and then save your Form Data Model. So after saving the Form Data Model, the next step is to create an adaptive form based on this Form Data Model, and create a lead by submitting the data from the adaptive form and fetching the leads from the Microsoft Dynamics and populating them in a table in your adaptive form.
