Designers often record a repeatable series of edits, such as a logo banner treatment, as a Photoshop action so they don’t repeat the same steps by hand. The Content Automation add-on applies those saved actions to assets directly in AEM Assets, through the Creative Cloud APIs. A manual edit becomes an automatic step that runs every time someone uploads a matching file.
In the Admin view, load a saved Photoshop action, like a banner or badge design, and apply it to files inside AEM Assets. This video shows how to create a processing profile that points to the action file, then apply that profile to a folder so every asset you upload there gets the same edit automatically. It also compares the original asset with the new rendition once the action runs.
