AEM Cloud Manager user role not updating after profile assignment
If your role doesn’t update in Cloud Manager after you assign the correct profile in the Admin Console, confirm the assignment and log out and log back in. Admin Console changes can take several minutes to reach Cloud Manager.
Description description
Environment
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud Manager
Issue/Symptoms
- After assigning the required Cloud Manager product profile to a user in the Adobe Admin Console, the user’s role may not update in Cloud Manager as expected.
- This can prevent the user from performing actions such as creating programs, even if they have System Administrator privileges.
- The issue may occur without any error message, and the role simply does not reflect the updated access.
Resolution resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue.
- Confirm that the user has been assigned the correct Cloud Manager product profile in the Adobe Admin Console.
- Ask the user to log out of Cloud Manager and log back in to ensure the new session reflects the updated access.
- Wait a few minutes. Changes in the Admin Console can take several minutes to synchronize with Cloud Manager.
- If the user’s role still does not update after completing these steps, contact Adobe Support through the standard support channels for further assistance.
