Issue/Symptoms
- AI Assistant becomes available in all environments, such as development, staging, and production, after you enable it.
- No option exists to restrict the feature to specific environments.
- No error message appears because this behavior is a product limitation.
Cause
The AI Assistant feature is managed at the IMS organization level for reliability and compliance reasons. Environment-level enablement is not supported.
Resolution resolution
Follow these steps to address the issue:

Be aware that enabling AI Assistant makes it available in all environments and programs within your IMS organization in AEM as a Cloud Service.
