Adobe I/O Runtime not visible in Admin Console for AEM as a Cloud Service
This article explains why Adobe I/O Runtime doesn’t appear in the Admin Console when integrating Adobe Developer App Builder with AEM as a Cloud Service, and provides guidance on how to request access.
Description description
Environments
- Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) (all versions)
- Adobe I/O Runtime
Symptoms
When integrating Adobe Developer App Builder with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service, Adobe I/O Runtime isn’t listed as a product in the Admin Console. Attempts to manually add Adobe I/O Runtime are unsuccessful, and no error messages are displayed. This is because Adobe I/O Runtime is provisioned to your IMS Organization only through an App Builder entitlement, which can’t be added manually in the Admin Console.
Resolution resolution
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
- Confirm that you are using AEM as a Cloud Service. App Builder entitlement isn’t available for AEM Managed Services or on-premises deployments.
- If Adobe I/O Runtime or App Builder isn’t visible in your Admin Console, you need to request access for your IMS Organization.
- Contact Adobe Support or your Adobe representative, and request Adobe Developer App Builder entitlement for your organization. Provide your IMS Organization ID, and specify that you require App Builder access for AEM as a Cloud Service integration.
- Wait for confirmation from Adobe that the entitlement has been provisioned. This process may take some time.
- After provisioning, verify that Adobe I/O Runtime or App Builder appears in your Admin Console product list, and proceed with your integration steps.
