Configure Dynamic Media integration in Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service

This article explains how to configure and validate Dynamic Media integration for a new Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service environment to ensure assets are published and accessible.

Description description

Environment

Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) (all versions)

Issue/Symptoms

When setting up a new AEM as a Cloud Service environment, it’s important to configure Dynamic Media integration correctly to ensure assets are published and accessible.

Each AEM environment should have its own Dynamic Media account to avoid asset conflicts and ensure proper management.

Reusing a Dynamic Media account from another environment isn’t recommended unless the previous environment is no longer in use and disconnected from Dynamic Media.

After configuration, you should receive a notification in the AEM Inbox indicating the success or failure of the Dynamic Media setup.

Resolution resolution

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

  1. Determine if your new AEM as a Cloud Service environment requires Dynamic Media integration.
  2. Request a dedicated Dynamic Media account for your new environment from Adobe Support, if one doesn’t already exist. Provide the preferred account name and designate a Company Administrator.
  3. Once you receive the Dynamic Media credentials via email, log in to your AEM environment.
  4. Navigate to Tools > Cloud Services > Dynamic Media Configuration in AEM.
  5. Enter the provided credentials to configure the Dynamic Media Cloud Service.
  6. Publish an image asset to Dynamic Media, and verify accessibility by accessing the generated Dynamic Media URL.
  7. Check the AEM Inbox for a notification indicating the result of the Dynamic Media setup (success or failure).
  8. If the notification doesn’t appear, ensure that the configuration steps were completed and that the setup process was triggered. If issues persist, review your configuration or contact Adobe Support for assistance.
