Legacy Dynamic Media company missing from Cloud Manager License dashboard in Adobe Experience Manager

This article explains why a legacy Dynamic Media company don’t appear in the Cloud Manager License dashboard and outlines steps to resolve the issue.

Description description

In Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Manager, the License dashboard displays a list of Dynamic Media companies associated with your IMS Organization. Occasionally, a legacy Dynamic Media (formerly Scene7) company don’t appear in this list, even though other similar legacy companies are visible. This issue typically affects older Dynamic Media companies that were created before IMS Organization mapping was required. No error messages are shown in the dashboard, and the issue isn’t consistently reproducible.

Environment

  • Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Manager (all versions)

Symptoms

  • One or more legacy Dynamic Media companies are missing from the Cloud Manager > License > Dynamic Media Companies dashboard.
  • Other legacy Dynamic Media companies are visible as expected.
  • No errors are displayed in the UI.

Cause

The missing Dynamic Media company isn’t mapped to the correct IMS Organization. As a result, it doesn’t appear in the dashboard for your organization.

Resolution resolution

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

  1. Gather the following information about the missing Dynamic Media company:

    • The company name as it should appear in the dashboard.

    • Any known company IDs or account details.

    • Confirmation that the company isn’t visible in the Cloud Manager License dashboard.

  2. Verify that the company isn’t visible by checking the Cloud Manager > License > Dynamic Media Companies section.

  3. Contact Adobe Support and provide the information collected in step 1. Clearly state that a legacy Dynamic Media company is missing from your Cloud Manager License dashboard and request a review of the IMS Organization mapping for the affected company.

  4. Adobe Support will investigate the mapping and, if necessary, update the association so that the company appears under your IMS Organization.

  5. After Adobe Support confirms the mapping update, check the Cloud Manager License dashboard again to verify that the missing company is now visible.
