New Relic server IP addresses for whitelisting

Issue/Symptoms

The user needs to whitelist New Relic server IP addresses to allow monitoring and integration with AEM environments. No error messages are reported, but connectivity issues may occur if the required IPs are not whitelisted.

Cause

New Relic monitoring requires outbound access to specific IP ranges. If these IPs are not whitelisted, monitoring data may not be transmitted successfully.

Resolution resolution

  1. Review the official New Relic documentation for the most up-to-date list of public minion IP addresses: New Relic Synthetics Public Minion IPs

  2. Add the following IP address ranges to your network whitelist, as referenced from the documentation:

    • Washington, DC, USA: 44.202.178.0/24, 44.202.180.0/23, 44.210.68.0/24, 44.210.110.0/25, 152.38.128.64/26, 152.38.132.0/24, 64.251.196.0/24
    • Columbus, OH, USA: 152.38.129.96/27, 64.251.197.0/24
