AEM Managed Services: Stage deployment pipeline failure with ‘Program has invalid solution KPIs’ error

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Managed Services (all versions)
Issue/Symptoms
When triggering a deployment to the Stage environment, the pipeline fails with the following error:
Failed: Invalid pipeline: <pipeline_id>. Reason=Program has invalid solution KPIs
- The issue is reproducible each time the deployment is started.
- The error prevents the deployment from proceeding to the Stage environment.
Resolution resolution
Try the following steps:
- Log in to the Cloud Manager UI for the tenant.
- Navigate to the Programs section and select the affected program.
- Review the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) configured for the program.
- Ensure that all required solution KPIs are set and valid for the current deployment pipeline. If any KPIs are missing or incorrectly configured, update them as needed.
- Save the changes and re-trigger the Stage deployment pipeline.
- If the error persists, contact Adobe Support with details of the KPI configuration and pipeline ID.
Cause
The deployment pipeline fails when the program’s solution KPIs are missing or invalid, which is a prerequisite for successful pipeline execution in AEM Managed Services.
