Deleted connections appear in the Customer Journey Analytics usage dashboard
Deleted connections continue appearing in the Customer Journey Analytics usage dashboard after deletion. The dashboard shows only connection IDs without names, creating confusion about whether those connections still count toward usage. To resolve the issue, wait for the next monthly usage refresh.
Description description
Environment
- Product: Customer Journey Analytics
- Scenario: Viewing a detailed breakdown by connection in the Usage dashboard
Issue/Symptoms
- Deleted connection IDs appear in the detailed breakdown by connection on the CJA usage statistics page.
- The breakdown shows only connection IDs without names after deletion.
- The usage statistics temporarily include deleted connection IDs in reportable row counts after deletion.
Resolution resolution
This behavior aligns with the monthly update cycle of the Customer Journey Analytics usage dashboard and doesn’t indicate license usage. Deleted connections disappear from the dashboard after the next scheduled metrics refresh.
For example, if you delete a connection on March 8, the deletion is reflected in April usage data, which becomes visible in the dashboard after the next monthly refresh on May 1.
Notes:
- The dashboard displays deleted connection IDs without names because the system removes metadata at deletion.
- Deleted connections don’t count toward license usage, even when they appear temporarily in historical dashboards.
