Campaign delivery template visibility limited by operationId filtering logic

You notice that the Resources/Templates/Delivery templates folder contains many delivery templates, but only a small subset appears when selecting a delivery template in a campaign workflow, even though operator access rights are correctly configured. This behavior is expected and is caused by Adobe Campaign’s built‑in operationId filtering logic, which displays only generic delivery templates. Ensuring delivery templates have an operationId value of 0 makes them available for selection across campaigns.

Description description

Environment

Adobe Campaign Classic

Issue/Symptoms

The Resources/Templates/Delivery templates folder contains more than 100 delivery templates. However, when selecting a delivery template from the Actions tab of a campaign workflow, only a small subset is displayed. Operator folder access rights are correctly configured and do not restrict access to the missing templates.

Cause

Adobe Campaign applies built-in form logic when displaying delivery templates in campaign workflows. Only delivery templates with an operationId value of 0 are shown. These templates are considered generic and reusable across all campaigns. Templates with an operationId greater than 0 are associated with a specific campaign and are intended to be used only within that campaign context. In this scenario, a customization caused the delivery templates that were missing from the campaign workflow to have an operationId value greater than 0.

Resolution resolution

Update the affected delivery templates so their operationId value is set to 0. This change designates the templates as generic and allows them to appear when selecting delivery templates from the campaign Actions tab. After the operationId value is corrected, the delivery templates are available for selection as expected.
