The Hot Clicks report doesn’t appear for non-admin operators in Adobe Campaign Managed Cloud v8
Non-admin operators can’t access the Hot Clicks report in Adobe Campaign Managed Cloud v8, even though other delivery reports display correctly. The report either doesn’t appear or shows no data due to missing reporting-related access rights. To resolve the issue, assign the required reporting and delivery permissions correctly.
Description description
Environment
Adobe Campaign Managed Cloud, v8
Issue/Symptoms
- Non-admin operators assigned only to a custom reporting group or the standard Access to Reports group can’t see the Hot Clicks report.
- The Hot Clicks report doesn’t appear in the Reports tab for affected operators.
- The Hot Clicks report loads but displays No data shown.
Resolution resolution
Follow the steps below to address the issue:
- Open Administration
>Campaign management>Target mapping and grant Read rights to the required operator group, such as Access to Reports. - Navigate to Campaign management
>Delivery and grant Read/Write data rights to the operator group. Apply this setting to every Market or Country directory where deliveries exist. - Go to Administration
>Platform>External accounts and assign Read rights to the operator group. - Open the Resources / Campaign management folder and grant Read rights to the operator group.
- Navigate to Resources
>Campaign management>Personalization blocks and assign Read rights. - Open Administration
>Configuration>Reports and grant Read rights to the operator group. - Go to Administration
>Platform>Branding and grant Read/Write data rights to the operator group. - Log out of Adobe Campaign and sign back in using the affected account.
- Open a delivery, navigate to Reports, select Hot Clicks, and confirm the report displays expected data.
Notes:
- Granting only read access to Branding isn’t sufficient. Assign both Read and Write Data permissions for this folder.
- Repeat these steps for each applicable market directory when multiple directories exist.
- If the issue persists, verify that affected accounts have at least Read access to both the parent folder and delivery-specific folders containing tracked deliveries.
