Restricted access to App Builder and missing project templates in Adobe Admin Console
Access to App Builder and the Create project from template option in the Adobe Developer Console stays restricted when the account hasn’t been added to the correct organization in the Adobe Admin Console. Switching to the appropriate organization unlocks App Builder visibility and access to project templates.
Description description
Environment
Adobe Commerce
Issue/Symptoms
- The App Builder section isn’t visible in the Adobe Admin Console.
- The Create project from template option doesn’t appear in the Adobe Developer Console.
- The expected projects don’t appear after signing in.
Resolution resolution
Note: App Builder access stays available only in the parent organization, while Adobe Commerce–specific access appears under organizations ending with (Commerce). The parent organization typically appears in uppercase and doesn’t include (Commerce) in its name.
To address the issue, follow the steps below:
- Confirm that the account is added to the correct organization in the Adobe Admin Console.
- If the account isn’t a member of the required organization, contact the System Administrator and request developer access or the appropriate permissions.
- After the account is added, sign out of the Adobe Admin Console and sign back in.
- Select the correct organization from the dropdown menu in the top‑right corner of the Adobe Admin Console.
- Verify that App Builder access is available and that all relevant projects and templates appear.
Note: If you don’t know who the System Administrator is, refer to internal company resources or approved support contacts for assistance.
