Adobe Experience Manager: How to stop AEM emails to a user who no longer uses AEM

A user may continue to receive system or workflow emails even after they stop using AEM.
This article explains how to stop these emails.

Resolution resolution

Clear the email address from the user’s profile:
Tools > Security > Users > select the user > Properties > clear the email address > Save & Close
