Alerts not triggering for streaming dataflow ingestion failures in Adobe Experience Platform
Alerts for source flow failures in Adobe Experience Platform do not work for streaming dataflows. To resolve this, subscribe to the “Profile Streaming Ingestion Failure Rate Exceeded” alert for each streaming dataflow.

- Product: Adobe Experience Platform
- Constraints: Streaming source flows and batch source flows
Issue/Symptoms
Alerts set up to notify on source flow failures (specifically Sources Flow Run Failure) do not trigger when errors occur during ingestion from streaming sources such as web events.
Resolution resolution
- Confirm if the dataflow is streaming or batch in Adobe Experience Platform.
- Open the streaming dataflow in the Adobe Experience Platform UI.
- In the Dataflows list, click the three dots (Options) next to the streaming dataflow.
- Subscribe to the Profile Streaming Ingestion Failure Rate Exceeded alert, which triggers when the skip rate exceeds a defined threshold.
- Verify that notifications are received when the failure rate exceeds the threshold for the streaming dataflow.
Note: Alerts for general source flow failures apply only to batch sources. For streaming sources, you must subscribe to specific failure rate alerts for each dataflow.
