When importing a List it imports into the wrong List

Description description

When importing a List it goes into the wrong List even if you had the correct list chosen when you started import.

Check if the pre-created list is in a shared folder or not. You can see this easily by checking the icon on the folder.
*Padlock on the folder means the folder is shared.
Ensure the user has access to the Workspace from which the Folder is shared.
You can check this by going to Admin and then Users & Roles.
User will need to do the Import into the Original List and not the shared list as that is read only.
This can only happen if the user has access to the Workspace.
If user tries to go ahead and import it will create a list with random characters and put the list in there. (Example in above screenshot.)
