Validation Error emails with hash or pound symbol
Description description
An error occurred when procesing the email Body!
Can appear when attempting to send the email as a sample or when attempting to approve and close the email.
System looks for an octothorpe ( # aka pound or hash sign) followed by letters to identify whether or not an email has velocity scripting in it.
Resolution resolution
To validate the email you can edit the statement including:
- Remove the #
- Remove letters directly after the #
- Add additional spaces after # or # + Letter(s)
- Remove special characters after # + Letter(s)
- Remove keywords such as Or after # + Letter(s)
Once the configuration of post # characters is updated to no longer appear as a velocity token the email can be approved or sent as a sample.
