Wait Step Duration Options
Description description
What are the different types of duration values that can be used in wait step?
What is the difference between a wait step value of ‘1 day’ and ‘24 hours’ if you use any of these values in your wait step without the advanced duration ‘must end on’?
You have a wait step that is behaving erratically, and holding people for erratic or undefined periods of time.

Wait times can be set to days, hours, minutes, or seconds. Just type in “30 seconds” or “1 minute” etc.
There is no difference between 1 day with the 24 hours wait step value. The value 1 day will wait and release a lead after 24 hours from the moment a lead enters the wait step.
Check to make sure that the unit of time is not misspelled. A wait step with minute spelled “mintue” or hour spelled “huor” won’t validate the spelling or logic of the wait step (that squiggly red line), so you’ll need to make sure the spelling isn’t off.
