Marketo Custom Object, Fields missing in the dropdown for the Company object

Description description

Scenario:  When setting up a new company link field within a Marketo Custom Object. The dropdown will not display all the fields.

Solution: Only custom fields of string type and the single Id field will appear.

Other fields types such as integer can appear however, its use as a link field is not supported.

NOTE

If you choose lead, you’ll see Id, email Address, and any custom fields in the list.

If you choose company, you’ll see Id and any custom fields in the list.

NOTE

Only string field types are supported in the link field.
