Delivery URL missing for approved assets in AEMaaCS
The delivery URL for approved and published assets in Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) does not appear when Dynamic Media with OpenAPI is enabled but user permissions are missing. Update user access in the Adobe Admin Console to ensure the delivery URL displays correctly in the assets view.
Description description
Environment
- Product: AEM as a Cloud Service – Assets
- Instance: Development (DEV)
- Constraints: Dynamic Media with OpenAPI enabled via Cloud Manager
Issue/Symptoms
- The delivery URL doesn’t display for approved and published assets in the assets view of the development author environment, even though Dynamic Media with OpenAPI is enabled.
- This impacts asset selector functionality for remote asset selection.
Resolution resolution
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Ensure Dynamic Media with OpenAPI is enabled for the relevant environment.
- Access the Adobe Admin Console and locate the delivery-specific product profile.
- Add users who need access to DM with OpenAPIs search service through asset selector to the AEM Assets DMOpenAPI Users profile under the delivery product profile.
- Wait 20–30 minutes for changes to take effect.
- Verify that the Copy delivery URL button appears in the assets view and is functional.
Note: If user permissions are not updated, access to delivery URLs and related features remains restricted even if Dynamic Media with OpenAPI is enabled.
