Unable to upload specific font file resources in Adobe Campaign Managed Cloud
To fix upload issues in Adobe Campaign with files such as .woff, .woff2, .ttf, .svg,etc., update server-side configurations, adjust uploadWhitelist, and validate changes across staging and production environments.
Description description
Environment
- Product: Adobe Campaign Managed Cloud v8 (Server Build 8.6.4)
- Instance: Stage and Production
Issue/Symptoms
Certain file types fail to upload successfully in Adobe Campaign Managed Cloud, even though the files appear to be uploaded to the server. The issue prevents these files from being marked as publishable or completed, which means they cannot be published. The affected file types include:
.woff.woff2.ttf.svg.eot.json.tsv.js
File types such as .png, .zip, .pdf, .xml, .csv, and .jpg are unaffected and upload without issues.
Steps to replicate
- Log in to the Adobe Campaign client console.
- Navigate to File resources.
- Click Create new, and add/upload a file with any affected extension (for example,
.woff). - Attempt to publish the file.
Actual result:
The following errors are thrown:
- INT-150012 The HTTP query returned a ‘Forbidden’ type error (403)
- INT-150004 An error has interrupted file transfer (HTTP code 403)
Resolution resolution
To resolve the issue with uploading specific font file resources:
- Ensure all required file extensions (
.woff, .woff2, .ttf, .svg, .eot, .json, .js, .tsv) are included in theuploadWhitelistparameter in both the marketing and mid config-instance XML files.- Make sure the configuration is consistent across all relevant instances (marketing, mid, tracking if used).
- Contact your infrastructure team to update container configurations in all non-prod/prod environments as required.
- Restart Adobe Campaign services after configuration changes. Test by uploading one of the problematic files (for example,
.woff,.js) and verify if the file can be marked as publishable/completed. - Confirm success in Stage environment, then replicate changes in Production.
- If uploads still fail, provide a sample problematic file to Adobe Support for deeper analysis.
