  • Error message appears in the logs: ALC-DSC-099-000: com.adobe.livecycle.packmgr.PackageManagerException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error received while making Service call to AEM. Http Error code = 401

Resolution resolution

To fix this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Access the AEM web console configuration manager at /lc/system/console/configMgr.
  2. Locate the Adobe LiveCycle Client SDK configuration and verify that the server URL (host and port), username (such as administrator), and password are correct. Save your changes.
  3. Verify that the correct hostname and port are set under the JVM argument -Dcom.adobe.livecycle.crx.integration.url. Update this value if necessary using the https://hostname:portno format and restart the server.
  4. Log in to AdminUI and go to Home > Services > Applications and Services > Service Management.
  5. Open CRXIntegrationService : 1.0 and confirm that the Experience Management Server URL points to the correct server URL and port.
  6. After completing all configuration updates, retry importing the .lca file into AEM.
