Dynamic Media Assets Delivery API card is disabled in Developer Console

In Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Dynamic Media/Scene7 environments with OpenAPI enabled, the Assets Delivery API card is not visible or accessible in the Adobe Developer Console. This blocks access to API credentials required for programmatic asset delivery, even when administrative permissions are granted. To resolve the issue, ensure license and product profile configurations are correct.

Issue/Symptoms

  • Assets Delivery API card doesn’t appear in the Adobe Developer Console.
  • Unable to create API keys or programmatic integration for asset delivery.
  • Access remains restricted despite having system administrator permissions.

Resolution resolution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure your account is assigned to a delivery-specific product profile in the Admin Console.
  2. In Cloud Manager, confirm that Dynamic Media with OpenAPI is enabled for your environment.
  3. Verify that your organization holds a Dynamic Media Ultimate license. The Assets Delivery API is not available with a Standard license.
