Resolution resolution

To delete an unwanted channel in Adobe Marketo Measure, follow these steps:

  1. Check if the channel you wish to delete is still associated with any touchpoints or offline values.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Channels > Create Channels  within Marketo Measure. Create the new Channel and SubChannel(s) as needed. Save your changes but do not delete the current Channel yet.
  3. Go to Settings > Channels > Offline Channels  in Marketo Measure. Under Channel Rules for CRM Campaign Type, locate your Campaign Type from Salesforce. Assign the new Channel and SubChannel as required based on your updated rules.
  4. Ensure that changes made, such as updating associations, are published within Marketo Measure. Allow sufficient time for the system to process these updates.
  5. Allow 48-72 hours for touchpoints and other data within Marketo Measure to reprocess. This ensures that all associations with the unwanted channel are cleared from the system.
  6. Once reprocessing is complete, verify that no touchpoints or offline values are still using the original channel.
  7. With no remaining associations, proceed with deleting the unwanted channel from your instance of Marketo Measure. To do so, navigate to Settings > Channels > Create Channels, and delete the old Channel/SubChannel.

By following these steps, you can successfully remove an unwanted marketing channel while ensuring data integrity within your Marketo Measure environment.
