Content Copy option disabled in Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service

If the Content Copy option is disabled in Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service, even with administrative access, check that the display names for product profiles match their default names, perform a deployment using Cloud Manager, reassign users, and allow time for changes to propagate.

Description description

Environment

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service - Sites

Issue/Symptoms

The Content Copy option is disabled despite administrative access.

Resolution resolution

To resolve the issue of the Content Copy option being disabled:

  1. Ensure that the display name for each environment’s product profile matches its default product profile name. For example, if your development environment’s default product profile name is AEM Administrators-xxxxxxxxxxx check that this exact string is used in the Product profiles name field and the Display name (optional) field.
  2. After updating display names to match their respective default names, perform a deployment using Cloud Manager to propagate these configuration changes across all environments.
  3. Remove affected users from their current AEM admin product profiles. Re-add them back into these profiles to refresh their permissions.
  4. Allow several minutes for changes to propagate through systems after making adjustments and reassigning users.

By following these steps, you should be able to enable the Content Copy feature.
