Issue/Symptoms
The Adobe Campaign Standard transactional email sending service returns an error message with a status code of 500. The response includes messages indicating an invalid session token, such as:
- RST-360011 An error has occurred - please contact your administrator.
- XSV-350285 Invalid session token: ‘0’ parts extracted out of the ‘3’ expected.
This problem prevents the sending of transactional emails through the API.
Resolution resolution
Note: A restart of the web and Apache services usually takes a couple of minutes. Save ongoing work before the restart is done as during the restart you can’t use the application.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- In the
web.log, identify the error XSV-350285 Invalid session token: ‘0’ parts extracted out of the ‘3’ expected. - Restart the web and Apache services associated with your instance. Obtain necessary approvals from relevant parties before proceeding with a restart, and inform all stakeholders about potential downtime during this process, as connectivity to the instance or any APIs calling it will be temporarily unavailable.
- Restart the web and Apache services on your server environment.
