AEM to Adobe Launch Integration: Migration from Service Account (JWT) to OAuth Server-to-Server credentials

This article provides relevant sources to learn about the migration of AMS AEM (Adobe Launch Integration using developer console API) from your Service Account (JWT) credentials to OAuth Server-to-Server credentials.

Description description

Environment

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Issue

Upon reviewing the Service Pack 6.5.21.0 release-notes about Support for OAuth Credentials, you find that the current Service Account (JWT) credential has been replaced with a new and simpler method for using credentials for server-to-server authentication - NPR-41994.

You are using AEM 6.5 SP17, but have not been able to locate any documentation.

Resolution resolution

The patch that supports OAuth Server-to-Server (S2S) credentials and deprecates Service Account (JWT) credentials for AEM 6.5 for Service Pack 11 to Service Pack 20 can be downloaded from [ 1] .

The documentation may also be located at [ 2] . It is a generic piece of documentation that just uses Target as an example. You may use the same steps for Launch as well.
