Modification and expressions section missing from Edit schema activity

In Adobe Campaign Classic, if the Modifications and expressions section is missing from the Edit schema activity, it is advised to delete the Registry and clear your local cache. Follow the steps mentioned in this article to resolve the issue.

Issue

The  Modification and expressions section is missing when adding the Edit schema activity in a workflow.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a workflow (wkf) and add an Edit schema activity.
  2. Open this activity and choose a Primary set.
  3. Notice that the Modifications and expressions section is missing in the Edit schema.

Resolution resolution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Delete the registry.

    • To open the registry, type Registry in the search bar.
    • Open the Registry Editor.
    • Search Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Neolane, and delete all the content from the Neolane folder.

  2. Clear your local cache from C:\Users<user>\AppData\Roaming\Neolane\NL_5. Note:  Do not delete the nlclient_cnx.xmlfile.

    • Go to the following locations based on your operating system version:

      • Windows 7: C:\Users< Username >\AppData\Roaming\Neolane\NL_5\
      • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings< Username >\Application Data\Neolane\NL_5

    • Here, you will see many XML files named nlclient-config-< alphanumerical value >.xml. Delete these XML files and associated folders, but do not delete the nlclient_cnx.xml file.
