Deleting the request from the golden-publish distribution queue UI will unblock the queue. Perform the below given steps:
-
Unblock the golden-publish queue. Go to the AEM Start
>
Tools>
Deployment>
Distribution UI by clicking the row in the Queues table with the bolded name. -
On the next page, identify and record the path of the blocking item (most likely an Asset), then select and choose to remove that item from the queue. This will eventually allow the rest of the activations to proceed.
-
Navigate to the Asset at the path recorded during the previous step and choose Manage Publication. Select Unpublish and Scheduling: Now, then click Next.
-
Select just the asset on the Scope page and click Unpublish. Confirm Continue if any references are identified.
-
After confirming that the Asset has been unpublished, navigate to the Asset again and choose Quick Publish.
-
Verify that the Asset has been successfully published and that the distribution queues are not blocked.
