Delete user who owns published segments in Adobe Analytics

Issue/Symptoms
An error shows up on trying to delete an Analytics user, which does not let you delete the user account.
Resolution resolution
One reason is that the user account owns some published segments, which either need to be transferred to another user or unpublished in advance.
The recommended approach is to transfer the published segments. Follow these steps to do so:
- Log in to Analytics and access the Segments UI.
- Click Other filters on the left rail, and check the Show all filter.
- Click Owners and check the Username filter.
- Click on the Published column head to show all segments with Yes status.
- Transfer them to another user via Transfer assets.
If you have confirmed that you will no longer use the segments, you can unpublish them and delete them.
Note: For some reason, the segments might not be unpublished. Refer to Unpublish or delete segments in this documentation.
