ACSD-67639: Creating a credit memo fails for bundle products with Dynamic Price set to No.

The ACSD-67639 patch fixes the issue where credit memos cannot be created for bundle products with Dynamic Price set to No. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.72 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-67639. Please note that this issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.9.

Issue

Credit memo creation fails for bundle products when Dynamic Price is set to No.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a bundle product with Dynamic Price set to No.
  2. Add two options, each containing one simple product.
  3. On frontend, add the newly created bundle product to cart.
  4. Proceed to checkout and place the order using Check / Money order".
  5. Go to admin and open the newly created order.
  6. Go to invoice and click submit invoice.
  7. Go to credit memo and click Refund Offline.

Expected results:

The credit memo is created without errors.

Actual results:

  • The credit memo is not created.
    • Error displayed: We found an invalid quantity to refund item 'bundle_product_name.
