ACSD-66157: Special price doesn’t take effect for websites created in different time zones

The ACSD-66157 patch fixes the issue where the special price doesn’t take effect for websites created in different time zones. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.70 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-66157. Please note that this issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.9.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.5-p13, 2.4.7-p6

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.5 - 2.4.8-p2
NOTE
The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. Issue

Special price doesn’t apply correctly on websites configured with different time zones, causing the product’s special price to not appear on the frontend.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a secondary website.
  2. Set time zones for Default Config scope to UTC.
  3. Set time zones for secondary website scope to Europe/Rome.
  4. Create product with special price using the REST API and make sure the product is in stock.
  5. Open the product on the frontend.

Expected results:

The product’s special price should be present on the frontend.

Actual results:

The product’s special price is not shown on the frontend.
