ACSD-48866: Error when requesting RSS feed for categories
The ACSD-48866 patch fixes the issue where an error occurs when requesting an RSS feed for categories. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.28 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-48866. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7.

An error occurs when requesting an RSS feed for categories.
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable RSS Feed in Stores > Configurations > Catalog > RSS Feeds > RSS Config > Enable RSS.
- Enable Top Level Category in Stores > Configurations > Catalog > RSS Feeds > Catalog > Top Level Category.
- Browse the storefront RSS Feed category page.
- Check the log files in
var/log
.
Expected results:
No errors in the log file.
Actual results:
The following error is shown in the log file:
Text fields are not optimised for operations that require per-document field data like aggregations and sorting, so these operations are disabled by default. Please use a keyword field instead. Alternatively, set fielddata=true on [updated_at] in order to load field data by uninverting the inverted index.
